The You Are There Bible Adventures stories are only available on Kindle. They are the kind of stories I loved when I was young, and my children love now. Each book gets you to imagine you are in the story and have to make choices as to what will you do. For example, in the book about Baby Moses, you will have to choose whether to let the woman keep her baby or to take it away. Either way, the Biblical story is told—just with a different slant.

These are books that are best viewed on a computer. They work on my Kindle (the cheapest one available) but the pictures are small and black-and-white. When I view the books on my computer, they are much nicer. I just use the Kindle for PC program that I downloaded from Amazon. I don’t know anything about other devices, but I would guess that they would be great on any tablet with a Kindle app. Now that I think of it, they would be wonderful for entertaining children when you are away from home! I think I’ll forget about deleting them from my Kindle as I was planning to, and keep them for emergencies (waiting times away from home with a 5-year-old).
