Synopsis: The story of Jesus’ resurrection is told with fun poetry and nice pictures.
The Arch Books series have been a favorite since I was little, and The Story of the Empty Tomb is no exception! I’ve always loved the rhythmic text and beautiful pictures, and hope that one day I can share these (now old) books with my own children, if the Lord wills.
In this story, the tale of Jesus’ resurrection is told. Through simple, relatable poetry, we see Mary coming to anoint her Lord—and then discovering, to her great disappointment, that He is gone. Then we see Peter and John running unbelieving to the tomb, and the awe as they realize what must have happened. The rest of the story is told as well, along with nice pictures depicting the scenes. This is another favorite in the Arch Books series, one I’m glad I can read to my younger brothers!
