The More Abundant Life, by Renetta Brovont

Title: The More Abundant Life
Author: Renetta Brovont
Major Themes: Daily Devotional, Christian Living
Synopsis: A daily devotional for women, focusing on a deeper walk with God.

Some years I use a daily devotional, some years I don’t. This past year, I did, because a friend whom I’ve known for over 30 years gave me the book she wrote. It is well-worth reading and meditating on! She has written short meditations based on incidents in her own life as the mother of seven, a dairy-farmer’s wife, and running the discount grocery store she and her husband started after leaving the farm. She also received inspiration from many sermons and from stories from the lives of her friends (I recognized several stories about my mother’s life). All in all, I would highly recommend The More Abundant Life to anyone who wishes to go deeper with the Lord.
