Synopsis: As the vet arrives at Mr Butler’s farm, he finds a kitten huddled in a freezing marsh and takes it to the house for the farmer’s wife to care for.
Moses the Kitten is a beautiful picture book. Told by master storyteller James Herriot and illustrated by Peter Barrett, it will be loved by any young child fortunate enough to have a copy. The pictures are absolutely gorgeous full-color paintings of an old-fashioned farm in Yorkshire, England. The story, while simple, is a delightful tale of a kitten found dying in a freezing marsh and rescued by the vet as he comes to the farm. This is the first story in James Herriot’s James Herriot’s Treasury for Children.
